Located on the border between Conca Agordina and the Mis Valley, the municipality of Gosaldo is a “scattered” municipality, a large part of which falls within the Belluno Dolomites National Park.

Don, Tiser, and Forcella Aurine are the main districts that create the municipality, which lies mostly at the foot of the Croda Granda and the majestic Pale di San Martino group, on the border with Trentino towards Primiero.

Formerly a land of shepherds, miners, and chairmakers (kónže), here you can still dream of California by going to the homonymous small abandoned village and traveling through the wild Mis Valley.

In winter, skiers can try day-and-night panoramic descents away from the crowds and take a gourmet break at the Forcella Aurine ski resort.
