The balcony of the Conca Agordina

Solitary and reassuring, firmly lying on the Còl dei Pass, it dominates the southern walls of the Moiazza. The gaze lays on Agordo that exhibits all the wonder of the whole Conca Agordina: Agner, Pale di San Martino, San Sebastiano, and Pale di San Lucano are just some of the many masterpieces that you can admire from this privileged spot. You’ll feel like being in front of the stage, where the mountain performs its mesmerizing show!

A stage of the famous Alta Via n° 1 of the Dolomites that connects Belluno to Val Pusteria, the Carestiato Refuge boasts a climbing paradise behind it as well as the famous Ferrata Costantini, the longest and most difficult of the Dolomites.

In winter (weekends and holidays), when the snow caresses the rock with its white mantle, the refuge welcomes ski mountaineers and hikers with snowshoes, refreshing them with delicious traditional dishes. In the warmth of its beautiful wooden interior, they will taste even better!

For those who do not like the thrill of sleeping “at high altitude” but prefer to be pampered by the widespread hospitality of Conca Agordina, the managers of the Carestiato Refuge also welcome you in Agordo in the new B&B Villa Belvedere.
